Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduated from St. Xavier High School.
Branched out by going to [The] Ohio State University, graduated with a Communications degree.
Didn’t land the job I wanted after college as I needed experience for the jobs but needed the jobs for the experience. 🥴
Moved to Illinois (with no job) for a better chance to begin my career as a marketer/writer. Initially was a salesman, it wasn’t a tough racket (Alec Baldwin sip) I excelled at it, but it wasn’t for me.
A musicophile – once owned an iPod with over 40,000 songs.
The AHA moment
I realized at every stage of my life writing was the requisite to moving forward. Since writing became vital to me at the age of 13/14 in the form of poetry. I realized the power words have on others because I first felt its power in me. Words can deter you or motivate you. They can best capture what we see in our minds and help execute it. It also helped that when I didn’t write, I constantly felt the need to write. This isn’t a hobby or pastime for me – it’s one of the things I’m purposed to do.
